Uno is a classic card game for children and adults, where the goal is to get rid of your cards, but you can only play them when they match the top card of the discard pile. By collecting the right combinations of cards, you can play many at once, paving the way to victory in the game - but this edition has a fun twist! When the light flashes, it's about being the fastest to press the button on the "Quick Draw unit" and thereby send an extra card over to the opponent.
Each player receives 7 cards.
Place the rest of the deck in the play area in a pile. Then draw a card from the pile and place it next to the pile face up to start a DISCARDS PILE.
The player to the left of the dealer starts and must place a card that matches the card in the DISCARDS PILE with the same number, color, or symbol. For example, if there is a red 7 in the discard pile, you can place a red card or a 7 of any color. You can also place a special card (see the Special Cards section). If you do not have a card that matches the card in the discard pile, you must draw a card from the closed pile.
If the card that was placed has a showdown icon, it's time for a one-on-one competition!
The player who placed the card must take the showdown unit and place it between themselves and the next player in turn (unless it is a showdown wild card - more on that later).
Then draw the number of cards from the closed pile as indicated on the Showdown icon and place them in the unit face down, ensuring that the card is secured under the clamps as shown.
Both players must place their hand on a pedal and press the stopwatch button. The RED LIGHT FLASHES, and the COUNTDOWN SOUNDS beep as it counts down. Players must wait to press the pedal until the light FLASHES GREEN. The cards are SHOT towards one of the players, and that player LOSES the respective Showdown and must take the cards into their hand.
