Tang Garden (English)

The Tang dynasty was considered the first golden age of the classical and now iconic Chinese gardens. Emperor Xuanzong built the magnificent Garden of the Majestic Clear Lake as a tribute to life itself.

Tang Garden is a Zen-like game that takes you back to the Tang dynasty where you will build a garden by placing scenery and panoramas. Amidst the construction, nobles visit to admire the surroundings and the way the natural elements coexist in the most breathtaking way.

How to play Tang Garden:

Each turn consists of one mandatory main action, and 3 optional actions:

• Main action
• Build the Garden or
• Place a Decoration
• Optional actions
• Influence a Character
• Use a Lantern
• Refresh a Lantern

When building your garden, you must choose a tile from one of the 4 stacks and place it on an empty space on your garden board. After placing a tile, you receive rewards based on certain fixed criteria.

The game ends when there are 3 or fewer landscape tokens left on the garden board, or when one of the 4 stacks is empty. The player with the most points wins.
