Patchwork Americana introduces new artwork and components inspired by the quilts made in the USA.
Patchwork Americana is a new edition of the famous game by designer Uwe Rosenberg.
In Patchwork, it is not the turn-taking principle that applies. Instead, it is the player who is at the back of the timeline who has the turn.
On your turn, you may do two things:
Buy fabric pieces
You may buy one of the three miniatures that are on the table, in the circle, in front of the time marker. The price, in buttons, is indicated on the piece/token – along with how long it takes to sew it onto your quilt.
Earn buttons
You receive buttons equal to how many spaces you move, and you move until you land on the space after where your opponent currently stands.
The game ends when both players are placed on the last space of the timeline. It is the player with the most buttons who wins.
