How to play Munchkin
In Munchkinthe goal is to be the first player to reach level 10. Everyone starts at level 1, and will rise through the game by selling equipment, playing specific cards, and defeating monsters. However, you can only reach level 10 by fighting monsters, unless you have cards that say otherwise.
Munchkin is played over several rounds. Each round consists of several phases:
Kick down the door,In the first phase, you move into new rooms to fight monsters and gain glory. Kick down the door to the next room by drawing the top card from the door pile. Most of these cards are monsters you now have to fight.
Look for trouble, If you did not draw a monster, you can now play a monster card from your hand that you must fight instead. The battle proceeds just like in a regular room.
Charity, When your turn ends, you may not have more than five cards in your hand. If you do, you must play them, or – if you cannot/will not play, give them to another player, so that you only have five cards in your hand again.
