Jabba's Palace: A Love Letter Game (English)

Jabba's Lair is home to the galaxy's most notorious gangster, filled with danger and deception. Its vile inhabitants thrive, but the members of the Rebel Alliance have their own plans. Jabba's Palace is based on the beloved card game Love Letter, retaining its original and simple mechanics, but takes place in the Star Wars galaxy.

The cards include characters like Luke Skywalker, Boba Fett, Salacious Crumb, Jabba the Hutt, and many more. Using both the Rebel Alliance and Jabba's crew, players must try to outsmart each other while also using the new Agenda cards to add additional ways to win the game.

How to play Jabba's Palace:

The game takes place over several rounds. In each round, you use the effects and numbers on your cards to complete your Agendas and eliminate the other players.

Player's turn
On your turn, you draw 1 card from the common pile, then choose and play 1 of your 2 cards, and its effect takes place.

The played card remains in the play area face up, and you keep the remaining card in your hand.

Character cards
Each character card has a number and an effect that takes place when it is played. It is also associated with either Rebels or the Palace, which is important for certain Agendas and effects.

Agendas
At the start of the game, each player chooses an Agenda that determines how they can win each round. Agendas remain in play throughout the game.

Out of the round
The palace is a dangerous place, and there are many cards and effects that can knock you out of the round. When it happens, you must discard your hand face up in your own play area. You will be back in the next round.

Played and discarded cards
It is important that everyone knows which cards have been played and which cards may still be left in the pile. Therefore, all played and discarded cards must be visible to everyone at all times.

The pile is empty
After each turn, if the pile is empty, it is determined among the remaining players who wins. The winner receives 1 victory token. If it is a tie, all players win the round and receive 1 token.

1 player left
If you are the last player remaining in the round, you win and receive 1 victory token.
