HeroQuest is back in a brand new edition, 30 years after it was first released! Hasbro awakens your nostalgia in January 2022.
Deep inside another dimension, you face barbarians and evil magic on a quest for adventure in a labyrinth of monsters. This is Hero Quest, the fantasy adventure game where winning means mastering combat and magic.
Once you enter it, you will never be the same again!
Any 80's child with self-respect can remember HeroQuest by Milton Bradley and Games Workshop. The Dungeons and Dragons-like game inspired by, among others, Conan the Barbarian, The Dark Crystal, and Labyrinth returns in a completely new reboot by Hasbro.
For the uninitiated, Hero Quest is a cooperative dungeon-crawler board game where players take on the roles of Heroes. They will then complete quests by exploring dungeons on the game board by rolling a couple of six-sided dice, passing doors (which have their own physical miniatures), killing monsters, acquiring treasures, buying better equipment, rinse and repeat.

One player takes on the role of the evil wizard Zargon, while the other players choose a hero each: the barbarian, the dwarf, the elf, or the wizard.
If playing with fewer than 5 players, the players must control more than one hero, as it makes the game harder to play with less than 4 heroes.
Choose a Quest from the Quest book, each Quest has 3 different sections: Parchment Text, Quest Map, and Quest Notes. This explains how the board should be set up and what should happen in the Quest.
When the players have filled out their character sheets, you are ready to get started.
Heroes can take the following actions:
Zargon can in turn do the following:
As heroes, you have completed a Quest when you have achieved the Quest goal and exited the dungeon. You can end early by leaving the dungeon before you have completed the Quest, or if all heroes are dead along the way.
