Are you lucky? You can go foraging at night when you can be all alone. If you get hungry, you can put a pan over the fire and enjoy the scent of chanterelles you sauté in butter. You can also sell porcini to local connoisseurs for information that can help you find what you are looking for.

Fungi is a card game for two players with beautiful, atmospheric cards, where the goal is to collect sets of mushrooms. The more mushrooms you collect, the more points they are worth, or they can be sold for sticks that can be used to pick mushrooms further into the forest. If the mushrooms are exchanged for points, they are fried in a pan, and butter and cider can be added for extra points. With extra baskets, you can collect more mushrooms, but beware of the red fly agaric, which ruins your collection.

Fungi is a fast game, and it’s important to keep your wits about you when deciding to venture into the forest for mushrooms. There is a fair amount of strategy in forcing your opponent to collect certain mushrooms or skip over larger clusters of ripe mushrooms.
