What is D&D 2024 - Monster Manual?

After 10 years with D&D 5e, Wizards of the Coast has decided to update the game's core books: Player's Handbook, Dungeon Masters Guide, and Monster Manual. This new Monster Manual (MM) is the second release and will contain several major changes to the current rules, but the core essence will still be based on 5e.

These new adjustments will make the game easier to learn, as well as make it faster and more fun to play. Most of the content of the books is based on feedback from players around the world!

The best part about these new books is that they are backward compatible, so the new rules work with all the D&D 5e books you may already own!

What does the new Monster manual contain?

The new MM will be the largest edition of the book to date with updated rules and much more new stuff:

• 500 different monsters. Now you can find a monster for any situation.
• Revised stat blocks. It will now be even easier and more fun to manage the many monsters.
  
• Upgraded monsters. New and stronger types of familiar monsters such as vampires, constructs, and oozes.
