EXIT is a mystery room/escape room in a box. You face a series of puzzles and mysteries that you must solve within a time limit in order to 'escape' the room you are trapped in.
Each EXIT game presents a significant challenge that takes 1-2 hours to solve for a group of players - and the game is meant to be played only once. Each box has its own theme from an Egyptian royal tomb to the mad professor's laboratory to the axe murderer's cabin in the woods.
Exit: Return to the Abandoned Cabin is the sequel to Exit: The Abandoned Cabin and contains a lot of new puzzles and tools!
An ordinary morning, a police detective knocks on your door. He asks you to accompany him to a cabin in the woods. You immediately know it is the same cabin where the sinister puzzle master Arthur Funbeq locked you up a couple of years ago. He has apparently escaped from prison. Now you are on your way back to the infamous cabin, where it all began, to help catch Funbeq again.
It has a difficulty level of 3 out of 5.
In addition to the contents of the box, it's a good idea to have a block of paper, pencil and eraser ready, as well as a stopwatch (possibly on a mobile phone).
Place the cards in three piles face down. It is important that you do not look at the cards during the game.
Make sure that the Mystery cards and result cards are arranged in the correct order according to numbers and letters. With A and 1 on top. The help cards are sorted by their symbols and placed in piles.
In each symbol set of three cards, the "FIRST HINT" should be placed first, followed by "SECOND HINT" and finally at the bottom, "THE SOLUTION". Distribute the piles on the table.
As the game progresses, you will find new objects that are locked with codes. The tasks are to find these codes and use them on the decoding disc.
In the outer ring of the decoding disc, there are 10 different symbols. Each of these symbols has a code, which you need to figure out. Therefore, it is important to pay attention to all the details!
If you think you have cracked a code, then you should set it under the symbol on the disc.
In the window, you will find a number, which indicates which result card you should look at. The result card will tell you if you are right or wrong.
With a correct code, you proceed in the game, while with a wrong code, you are asked to try again.
Be patient - some of the tasks can only be solved with the help of more mystery cards. You do not always get all of these cards at once.
The game ends when you have solved the last task and made it out safely. It is clearly stated on the result card when it happens, so there is no risk of missing it!
