After the great success of Dorfromantik – The Board Game, the second visit to the Dorfromantik world is not in the spirit of cooperation, but instead encourages friendly competition. Dorfromantik – The Duel maintains the core elements from the Spiel des Jahres 2023 winner, but divides the playing area into two. Throughout the game, players will build two separate landscapes using two identical copies of each tile as it is revealed. By the end of the game, two beautiful landscapes will have been created, varying depending on how each player (or team) approached the strategic challenge.
Two new task types are introduced: Double Tasks and Rearrangement Tasks, each bringing exciting new twists to building and scoring your landscape. Additionally, two new modules expand the player's options even further with Task Cards and Interest Points. These can be played independently or combined for greater challenges, more variation, and increased interaction.
Everyone who loves Dorfromantik – The Board Game will find expansion components for this game in the form of 7 task tiles and matching markers, 4 achievement cards, and special tiles, plus a photographer and camera markers.
Dorfromantik – The Duel is designed for two players or two teams to compete against each other and will easily support up to four players when using two copies.
