The world is vast, and your kingdom is gigantic. It’s not really a kingdom anymore; it’s an empire. Which makes you the emperor. This gives you the right to a better chair, plus you can name a salad after yourself.
It’s not easy being the emperor. The day starts early when you light the sacred flame; then it’s hours of selection meetings trying to precisely determine why the sacred flame keeps going out.
Sometimes your armies take over a continent, and you just have no idea where to place it. And there’s the risk of being murdered; you have a food taster who tastes something before you eat it, and a dagger tester who gets stabbed by something before it stabs you.
You’ve grown fond of staying home. All in all, it’s a good job. You wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world—especially considering how much of the world you already have.
In Dominion, you have three phases to go through every time it’s your turn: A, B, and C. Action, Buy, and Cleanup.
When three of the stacks in The Supply are depleted, the game ends, and everyone counts their victory points together. The one with the most points wins.
