Sneak into an angry dragon's lair and steal its precious artifacts. The deeper you go, the more valuable loot you can find. Collect new cards that can enhance your thieving abilities.
Be quick and quiet. One wrong step and CLANK! Every careless sound attracts the dragon's attention, and every stolen artifact increases its rage. You only get your plunder if you make it out of the depths safely!
How to play Clank!
Clank! is a deck-building game where each player starts with an identical pile of cards, which they improve throughout the game. You start each turn with 5 cards in hand and play them in any order you like. Most cards generate resources, of which there are 3 different types:
- Skill, used to buy new cards
- Swords, used to fight the monsters in the dungeon.
- Boots, used to move around the game board.
Each time you acquire a new card, you must place it face up in your discard pile. When you need to draw a new card but your pile is empty, you shuffle your discard pile and turn it over to form a new pile. This way, you get your new and better cards into play!
You need to achieve the following tasks during the game:
- Retrieve artifact tokens and avoid the dragon
- Collect enough points from artifacts and monsters to become the best thief in the realm!
