Harry Potter started as a series of seven fantasy novels written by British author Joanne "Jo" Rowling – better known by her pen name J.K. Rowling. The series has won multiple awards and has achieved great international recognition. Rowling is the first person in the world to become a billionaire through her writing.

In the books, we follow the young wizard Harry Potter and his friends Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley. All of them study at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The main story centers around Harry Potter's battle against the evil Lord Voldemort, who strives to become immortal, take over the Ministry of Magic, and suppress all wizards and Muggles (a special term for non-magical people).
