The 7 Wonders series has been one of the most popular board game series since the first game was released in 2010. Over the years, the series has won a multitude of "best game awards" both domestically and internationally - it notably won the Adult Game of the Year award in Denmark in 2011.

7 Wonders can be played by 3-7 players - and unlike many other games, you don't have to sit and wait for your turn. All players simultaneously choose a card from their hand that they think best fits their strategy. Once everyone has chosen a card, each player passes the rest of the cards from their hand to the player on the left.
This continues until there are no more cards to pass on.

Can the first and second editions of the game be used together?
No, unfortunately, they cannot. Some of the cards have been discontinued, while others have changed slightly. So if you have the first edition of the base game, you unfortunately cannot combine it with one of the expansions made for the second edition of the game.

The second edition of the game has been refreshed, and some of the cards have been changed. The rulebook has received a major, much-needed update, making it even faster to get started with the game.

Additionally, the cards themselves have also been refreshed with new backs, etc.

The difference between the English and Danish editions of 7 Wonders is the included rulebooks and, of course, the box itself.

None of the cards in the Scandinavian edition have been translated into Danish. This means that a Danish base game can be played without any issues with an English expansion.
