Stargrave is a skirmish miniature game by Joseph A. McCullough, the designer behind Frostgrave. Set in a perilous galaxy, players control a small crew of adventurers hunting for loot, while trying not to draw too much attention to their activities.
Stargrave is designed to be played with a variety of miniatures. Here's a chance to mix, for example, miniatures from Warhammer 40,000, Kill Team, Star Wars: Legion, Necromunda, and of course the official Stargrave miniatures.

In a galaxy torn apart during the last war, pirate fleets roam from system to system, plundering everything in their path. Amidst this chaos, thousands of independent operators - smugglers, treasure hunters, freedom fighters, and mercenaries - thinly traverse the dead stars in small ships, fighting for survival as best they can.
In Stargrave, players take on the role of one of these independent operators, choosing from a variety of backgrounds each with their own strengths, weaknesses, and associated powers. Players must then hire a crew for their ship and recruit a lieutenant with a unique set of skills and a handful of soldiers, mechanics, hackers, and other specialists. Some captains might even recruit strange alien life forms with abilities no human could ever possess.
Once players' crews are assembled, they are ready to dive into a campaign. Over a series of games, their crews will have the chance to undertake a variety of missions - recovering lost technology, stealing data, freeing slaves, and fighting back against the pirate fleets. As the crews gain experience, they become more powerful and hire more talented specialists. The more they grow, the more likely they are to attract the attention of a pirate fleet and be pursued!
