Zombicide: Green Horde (English)

This sequel to Zombicide: Black Plague brings players back to a world of deadly medieval fantasy, this time filled with infected orcs and goblins that will put the survivors to the ultimate test. This green threat is not only stronger than their human counterparts, but they also tend to gather in massive hordes that overwhelm survivors when they least expect it.

Set in the same medieval era as Black Plague, players will take on the role of survivors seeking to defeat the wandering, dead threat by any means necessary.

In Green Horde, up to six players can join the fight for survival. They will unite their forces and cooperate to achieve their goals and against all odds, stay alive. Fans of the Zombicide series are familiar with the wandering, running, fat, and gruesome creatures that roam around looking for victims. But the creatures they will face are not just zombie-humans, they are zombie-orcs! Survivors must equip themselves with a wide range of medieval gear if they hope to survive these terrifying foes. Zombie-orcs are stronger than the classic zombie and pose a tougher challenge, even for experienced hunters of the undead.

A new challenge for survivors is the Horde. It represents a growing group of orc-zombies ready to come onto the board at an unexpected location and surprise survivors. When zombie cards with the Horde symbol are drawn, one extra zombie-miniature of the same type is set aside, and they together form the Horde. They will remain locked in place until a "Join the Horde!" card is drawn, which triggers the Horde on the board. Any survivor who finds themselves alone near this ravenous threat should retreat as quickly as possible.

With such threatening new enemies, survivors will have their hands full dealing with the Green Horde. Fortunately, they will have some new weapons and spells on their side to combat the rotting masses. Things like Lava Burst, Norse Sword, and Bone Kukri will all be useful as they hack their way through a swarm of the undead. Oh, and if they happen to gather too closely, survivors can always hit them with the catapult...(did we mention the catapult?).

Zombicide: Green Horde includes ten new challenging missions that present some of the toughest scenarios a survivor has ever had to tackle. With new terrain like cliffs and waterholes and the ever-present threat of the Green Horde appearing, the team must plan their routes carefully. Sometimes it’s better to avoid problems than to face them head-on! Zombicide: Green Horde is the next chapter in the ever-evolving world of Zombicide. There is no rest for the survivors if they hope to fight their way to a new hope and a new beginning.
