Wingspan Oceania Expansion (Danish)

In this second expansion to Wingspan, a series of colorful birds from Oceania are added. The bird cards are mixed with the cards from the base game but can also be used with other expansions.

The expansion includes new player mats, a new color of eggs, and a new type of food that opens up new strategies.

How to play Wingspan

The game is played over four rounds. After a round is finished, there is a small scoring phase, where points are awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the category shown by the scoring token. After that, all players receive their action cubes back minus one, the starting player marker moves on, and the next round is ready to begin.

On a player's turn, they can take one of four actions.

• Catch a bird: by paying the food that the bird costs.
• Gather food: The first free space in the food row shows how much food can be taken from the feeder. When only one type of food is left, the player can choose to re-roll all the dice.
• Get the birds to lay eggs: The first free space in the egg-laying row shows how many eggs are received. Each bird has a number of eggs that it can have. Eggs are also needed when placing a second or later bird in a row.
• Draw cards: Here, the player can choose between the three shown, or draw one randomly from the deck. The first free space also shows how many cards can be drawn.

For the last three actions, once the main action is done, all birds in the same row are activated from right to left. This can yield points, eggs, food, or more cards. Some birds activate when other players take a specific action.

When the fourth round is over, points are tallied, and the player with the most points for birds, eggs, and bonus cards wins.
