The Jade Monastery – home to the life-giving Everspring – is on the brink of collapse, threatened by Gelgus Pust and his fanatical followers. Only a motley group of heroes and mercenaries stands between hope and impending disaster. Warhammer Quest: Darkwater is a brand new adventure game that can be played solo or with up to three friends, supporting both standalone scenarios and longer campaigns with high replay value.
The box contains a total of 49 detailed push-fit miniatures: Seven heroes (along with the spirit Wisper), the villainous Gelgus Pust, Belga the Cystwitch, Mulgoth the Cleaver, and Shaman Foulhoof – as well as a large enemy horde consisting of 2 Cankerborn, 3 Blight Templars, 8 Pestigors, 14 Pox-Wretches, 6 Mire Kelpies, and 4 tokens.
A lay-flat map book system provides you with all the paths for your missions, created from encounter cards and boss cards spread across three acts, supported by event cards. Additionally, you will find hero and enemy cards, reward cards, two sheets of tokens, dice, and practical storage boxes for your cards and tokens if you want to pause the campaign between game sessions.
A quick start guide gets you started quickly, and the accompanying 36-page rulebook teaches you the game's mechanics and introduces both skirmish and campaign modes.
Warhammer Quest: Darkwater is a range product – should it sell out, you can expect it to return to the shelves.
