The first and oldest of all Phoenix Lords, Asurmen, also known as Asuryan's Hand, is one of the few survivors of the Fall and the founder of the Aspect shrines. He personally trained the first Aspect Warriors and established more shrines than any other Phoenix Lord, making Dire Avengers the most numerous of all Aspect warriors.

Armed with the legendary Bloody Twins, wrist-mounted shuriken catapults, and the very first diresword, Asurmen demonstrates a tactical sharpness and an unmatched combat prowess that has made him a symbol of Aeldari's resilience and warrior legacy.
