This expansion introduces a completely new game board with more strategic choices, new actions, and a more flexible start to the game. The result is a deeper experience where planning and timing become even more significant.

The Bordeaux board gives all players a stronger start with bonuses from the wake-up track, four complete seasons with worker placement, and a new Expert Action that allows you to permanently upgrade an action. At the same time, you gain access to a trading market, open wine and wine order cards, as well as the ability to convert grapes, wine, and coins into victory points at the end of the game.

The expansion alters several of the familiar actions and provides new tactical opportunities without losing the classic Viticulture feel. It is therefore ideal for both experienced players seeking more variety and groups looking to explore new strategies.

The Bordeaux Expansion is compatible with most modules from other Viticulture expansions, including Tuscany Structures, Special Workers, Moor Visitors, and Rhine Valley. The board is double-sided, with the back being the original Viticulture game board, making it easy to replace this in the box.

Note: This is an expansion and requires the base game Viticulture Essential Edition to be played.
