Vaesen – Nordic Horror Starter Set invites you into a dark and mythical version of the North in the 1800s. In forests, mountains, and hidden groves, strange creatures lurk in the shadows. Most cannot see them – but you can. These creatures are called vaesen.

The game takes place in the Mythical North, a Europe where ancient legends and folklore are reality. The atmosphere is gothic, grim, and filled with Nordic mythology. As a player, you are a member of a secret society whose members have “The Sight” – the ability to see vaesen and uncover the truth behind inexplicable events.
