Welcome to the mysterious north - Northern Europe in the 19th century, but not as we know it today. A land where myths are real. A cold area covered by vast forests, its cities are like lonely beacons of industry and enlightenment. But in the countryside, the old traditions persist. There, people know what lurks in the dark. Vaesen is a Nordic horror roleplaying game, written by Nils Hintze and based on the work of Swedish illustrator and author Johan Egerkrans. Vaesen presents a dark and gothic framework permeated by Nordic folklore and ancient myths in Scandinavia. The game uses a modified version of the Year Zero Engine.

Vaesen RPG: Core Rulebook includes:
