The Witcher: Old World Mages Expansion (English)

This expansion for The Witcher: Old World includes 5 new characters - mages. Each has a unique miniature, a complete set of components that includes an individual card game and a player board with an individual specialty. With this expansion, you now have 12 characters to choose from, and that's not all. The mages receive a board expansion and a complete set of action cards. So mages and witches can compete in the old world, but they train and fight in their own style.

What is the game about?
In Witcher: Old World, each of you chooses 1 of 5 witcher schools and takes on the role of a professional monster hunter. During your journey through the continent's vastness, you will discover secrets, train yourself in combat, and gain experience. Depending on the game length, which is determined at the start of the game, you compete to collect 4-6 trophies. The first person to collect the required number of trophies wins, bringing the highest honor and fame to their school.

There are many ways to earn trophies. The basic method is to kill monsters. But you can also earn them by fighting for your school's honor against other witchers in taverns, increasing your attributes to the maximum level, or by completing specific quests while traveling through the continent.

Throughout the game, you gradually create a unique set of cards by choosing from the pool of available skills: attacks, dodges, and witcher signs. You use these cards during combat, where you combine cards for powerful attacks and use special abilities from the witcher school you belong to. Quests, skirmishes, and even dice will allow you to acquire new items, money, and develop your skills.
