The Isle of Cats Duel is a competitive and standalone game designed specifically for two players. As citizens of Squalls End, your mission is to rescue as many cats as possible from The Isle of Cats before the evil Lord Vesh arrives. Each cat is represented by a unique piece and belongs to a family that you must try to keep together while finding space for them on your boat.

New Game Mechanics

Instead of the card drafting system that characterizes the original The Isle of Cats, Duel introduces a new movement mechanic. Guided by an Oshax cat, players take turns moving around the island. Where you move determines which cats, treasures, and lessons you can access, while also affecting what options your opponent has on their next turn.

How to Win

The player who best balances:

• Rescuing cats and optimizing their placement.
• Completing lessons for bonus points.
• Limiting the opponent's options will prove to be the ultimate cat rescuer.
