Shobu (English)

Shobu is an abstract strategy game for 2 players. The game has 4 square wooden boards and 16 stones for each player.

Shobu is reminiscent of chess, but with its own unique challenge. It feels familiar yet new.

How to play Shobu:

Your turn is divided as follows;

1. First, you must move one of your stones up to two spaces in any direction.
2. Do the same with one of your other stones, on a wooden board in your opponent's color, and try to push their stones off the board.
3. Be the first to remove all of your opponent's stones from any wooden board.

The first player to push an opponent's stone off a wooden board wins.
