Root: The Marauder Expansion introduces 2 new factions to Woodland - Lord of the Hundreds and Keepers in Iron. As well as 4 new Hirelings and a new setup suitable for both casual and competitive players!

Note: This is an expansion and cannot be played without the base game Root.

• Secure your realm and heal deadly wounds with Marquise elite.
• Crush your enemies and show your legitimacy with the last Eyrie regiment.
• Rebel against depots and fight for freedom with Alliance sympathizers.
• Skulk in the forests and take what you need with Vagabond mercenaries.

How to play Root:

Each player chooses a faction, which determines how they will play the game.

• Lord of the Hundreds, you claim to be the true voice of the forest while spreading distrust and division and using torch-swinging mobs to dominate your enemies. Your swarming army can overwhelm most while plundering and making your towering treasure grow.

• Keepers in Iron, you are an order of nomadic warriors who have arrived in Woodland to reclaim ancient relics. To find them, you must use your Retinue of Woodland contacts carefully, as only the most loyal animals know how to find the relics they seek. Your diligent devotion to your cause makes you a terror in battle.
