Root: The Clockwork Expansion - 2 (Exp) (English)

Root: The Clockwork Expansion 2 is a standalone expansion for Root that allows you to fight against 4 automated factions! You can choose to add just one if you are few players, or team up against them!

Each bot has 4 difficulty levels and 4 trait cards that give them special powers and strategic quirks. A new Better Bot trait card for each faction from the first Clockwork expansion is also included.

Fight against 4 new automated factions!

• Logical Lizards: Destroy their gardens before the diligent acolytes dig your grave!
• Riverfolk Robots: You can hire them as mercenaries to defeat your enemies. However, their services come at a price, so make sure to win before they are strong enough to catch up with it.
• Cogwheel Corvids: Sabotage their plans and eliminate their agents before they take over the forest!
• Drillbit Duchy: Hold out against the invading hordes and stop them from taking you down!

How to play Root:

Each player chooses a faction, which determines how they will play the game.

• Marquise de Cat, plays a game of engine building and logistics while trying to police the great wilderness. By collecting wood, they are able to produce workshops, sawmills, and barracks. They win by building new buildings and crafting.
• Eyrie, sneaks their hawks to take back the Woods. They must capture as much territory as possible and build roosts before they collapse back into squabbling.
• The Alliance, hides in the shadows, recruiting forces and hatching conspiracies. They start slowly and build towards a dramatic presence in the late game - but only if they can manage to keep the other players in check.
  
• The Vagabond, uses all sides of the conflict for their own gain while hiding a mysterious quest. Explore the board, fight against other factions, and work towards achieving your hidden goal.
