The grim Marquise de Cat has taken control of the woodland and plans to drain the land of its riches.
Under her rule, the many creatures of the forest are bound together. This alliance will attempt to strengthen its resources and undermine the cat's dominion. In this effort, the alliance can seek help from the wandering vagabonds, who are able to move through the more dangerous forest paths. Although some may sympathize with the Alliance's hopes and dreams, these wanderers are old enough to remember the great raptors that once controlled the forest.
Meanwhile, on the outskirts of the region, the proud, suffocating Eyrie has found a new commander, whom they hope will lead their faction to reclaim their old birthright. The stage is set for a competition that will determine the fate of the great forest. It is up to the players to decide which group will ultimately take root.
