Instructions

1. Mix green stuff/clay properly until it is clear according to the manufacturer's recommendations.
2. Roll out green stuff/clay on a surface that needs to be textured. For optimal results, ensure you have a smooth and even surface. *** For this, use a regular rolling pin, for example.
3. Depending on the type of material, it is recommended to wet the rolling pin to prevent sticking.
4. Slowly roll the rolling pin with even pressure at all points for a uniform texture.
5. Trim excess green stuff/clay with a sharp knife. It is recommended to do this when it is dry to avoid deformations in the material.

There are plenty of different kits and clays on the market, and all can be textured using the right technique.

In the case of epoxy kits, there are a number of different techniques that achieve similar results. You do not need to bake them, so they can be applied directly to, for example, plastic bases.

For Green Stuff, which is particularly sticky, it is necessary to wet either the clay or the rolling pin with a little water before texturing. You can also reduce stickiness by applying talcum powder.

Other epoxy kits such as Milliput kits are also suitable, but we would not recommend wetting them too much, as it will hinder your work. Additionally, if the mixture is too sticky, it is better to continue kneading until the stickiness is gone.
