PLAYER ID

A Pokémon Player ID is required to participate in the tournament. Create your own Player ID in advance at pokemon.com and bring it for registration.

DECK LIST

A deck list must be submitted on paper to the tournament staff when you register. The staff may request to see your deck for verification during the tournament.

TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE

⭐ NB - NEW RULES APPLY WHEN TIME RUNS OUT ⭐
When time runs out, the current turn is completed. Then one more turn is played. This turn has a time limit of 10 minutes.


⭐ The tournament is played in Standard format - meaning only cards marked with G, H, or I are allowed.
⭐ Please note that new cards only become legal for use in tournaments 2 weeks after the set has had its official release.
⭐ The tournament is played as Swiss, where players are matched randomly in the first round. After that, players are matched according to the number of wins.
⭐ There will be 3-5 rounds, depending on the number of participants.
⭐ 4-8 players = 3 rounds
⭐ 9-16 players = 4 rounds
⭐ 17 - 32 players = 5 rounds
⭐ Please note that the combination of Junior, Senior, and Master players may affect the exact ratio of the number of players to rounds - Each age group does not necessarily play the same number of rounds.
⭐ Matches are played best out of 1.
⭐ Each round lasts 30 minutes.
⭐ There is no Top Cut.

Remember to report the result of the match to the tournament staff as soon as the match is finished.
Also notify immediately after the match if you wish to drop from the tournament.

PRIZES

🏆 For each player, there will be 1 Pokémon TCG booster from the latest normal set in the prize pool, which will be distributed according to placement after the last Swiss round.

CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS
---------------------------------
VG League Challenges are a type of event that allows players to earn Championship Points. Players compete on the European Leaderboard, and the highest-ranked players receive an invitation to the Pokémon World Championships. Points are awarded based on placement after the last Swiss round and tiebreakers. The distribution of CP is as follows:

🎖 1st place earns 15 Championship Points
🎖 2nd place earns 12 Championship Points
🎖 3rd and 4th places earn 10 Championship Points
🎖 With 17 or more players, 8 CP will be awarded to 5th - 8th places.
