Can you infect the whole world? Plague Inc: The Board Game is a strategic game of infection, evolution, and eradication based on the popular digital game of the same name. Each player takes on the role of a deadly disease that constantly mutates to have unique symptoms to adapt to those they infect.
Your disease may start as a harmless flu, but when suddenly one of your symptoms is coughing, you find it easier to spread through the air. Diarrhea helps you thrive in warmer countries, and total organ failure can help you eradicate entire countries in a single turn!
Make sure to be as contagious as possible, and as deadly as possible! Even the most desolate locations and the most resistant parts of humanity must be infected! You compete against each other to infect cities around the globe and be the first to wipe out humanity! Along the way, you play powerful event cards that can change the course of battle. You might be able to eradicate opponents by bombing their infected cities, or host the Olympics, which causes a large number of infected people to travel to a healthy continent.
