Pandemic Fall of Rome

At its height, the Roman Empire had over 2 million square kilometers of territory with over 100 million people. Throughout the centuries of its existence, the empire brought great advancements in technology, architecture, science, art, and literature. By the beginning of the 5th century, several decades of political corruption, economic crisis, and an overburdened military had taken a toll on the empire's stability. This paved the way for incursions from aggressive barbarian tribes, leading to a decline from which Rome would not recover. Now, citizens, soldiers, and allies of Rome must unite to protect the empire.

Pandemic: Fall of Rome combines the gameplay of Pandemic with an innovative new mechanic that takes you back in time to the world's greatest empire: Rome. A weakened military has left its borders open to invasion from countless tribes such as the Anglo-Saxons, Goths, Vandals, and Huns. As you march through the Roman Empire, you must recruit armies, take over cities, forge alliances, and face the invading hordes in battle. Take on unique roles with special abilities to enhance your team's chances of protecting against the attackers. Work together, use your abilities wisely, and stop Rome's decline!
