Paleo (Danish)

Paleo is an adventure game set in the Stone Age. In the game, you must keep your people alive while they carry out their missions - it could be a hunt for fur, or a tent. In addition to the small missions, you also have a long-term goal: paint a woolly mammoth on the wall so that future people know you once existed. (Okay, you just think a mammoth painting would be cool, and registering your existence is just a bonus).

What can prevent you from painting that mammoth? Death, in all its many forms.

Paleo includes several modules that allow you to encounter many different people, quests, and much more while you find yourself in the year 10,000 BC.

How to play Paleo:

Each player starts with a couple of people, each with a skill and a number of life points. On a turn, you must choose to go to one place - perhaps of the same type as another player, but not the same location. Although you have an idea of what you will find at your chosen location, you cannot know for sure until you arrive - you might get food or resources, or find exactly what you need to make a useful item. It could also be that you get bitten by a snake, so you are close to dying! Life is filled with both wonders and horrors.

When the day runs out, you will need food for all your people as well as different skills to complete quests. If you cannot do that, you must instead place a skull on the game board - when there are enough of them, you give up on life and decide that future people must look up to someone other than you.
