A small village far from the beaten path is plagued by werewolves that hunt the peaceful villagers at night. During the day, the villagers try to execute the werewolves among them, but who is who?
In One Night Ultimate Werewolf, players take on the roles of villagers and werewolves, but no one knows who the others are, and throughout the game, they must figure out who their opponents are. It is a variation of the classic werewolf games.
All players receive a role: one of the evil werewolves, the cunning troublemaker, the helpful seer, or one of the many other roles, each with a special ability.
The game is designed for three to ten players and takes about ten minutes per game.
The game unfolds over one night, where the werewolves and other specialists take turns waking up to perform their secret tasks, and during the day, a vote must be held on who should be lynched to remove the threat of the werewolves. If the werewolves can trick the villagers into eliminating an innocent villager, the wolves win, and if the villagers can figure out who the werewolf is, they can win the game.
