Nature (English)

Nature is a reinterpretation of the popular Evolution, where the game is made simpler to approach, more forgiving, and at the same time filled with deep strategic choices.

The clever thing about Nature is the modular system, which allows you to create a new ecosystem every time you play. The combination of modules changes the game's possibilities and gives you new challenges from game to game.

Adapt to nature

In Nature, you must build a strong population in an ecosystem where food is scarce and predators lurk. To survive, your species must develop the right traits.

For example, you can develop:

• Tusked – makes it easier to find food
• Fast – helps to escape danger
• Clawed – makes your species better at hunting

Create your own ecosystem

The base game is easy to learn and serves as an introduction to the Nature universe. But you can modify the game based on the group you are playing with.

For example, add:

• Nature: Flight – for a game with less conflict
• Nature: Jurassic – for a more aggressive game
• Nature: Arctic Tundra – for a harsh survival game

With 6 modules and 4 mini-modules, there are more than 700 different ecosystems to explore.

How to play

Nature is a card-driven tableau-builder game played over 4 rounds. Each round consists of an Adapting Phase and a Feeding Phase.

In the Adapting Phase, you use 5 cards to:

• Increase your population
• Increase your body size
• Play cards as Traits and improve your species
• Save cards to use as food in the Feeding Phase

In the Feeding Phase, you must ensure to feed as many of your animals as possible. When the round ends, you earn 1 point for each member of your population that is still alive.

After 4 rounds, the player who has managed to keep the most animals alive wins.

Nature combines simple card mechanics with plenty of strategic options and a flexible modular system, so each game can feel like a completely new ecosystem.
