The universe in Munchkin Warhammer 40.000 continues to expand with the latest supplement, Cults and Cogs. The strange Genestealer Cults infiltrate worlds by manipulating DNA... once you realize they are among you, it is already too late. The metal-and-machine-clad Adeptus Mechanicus are more direct and send warriors clad in mechanized armor to lay waste to the world.

 

How to play Munchkin

In Munchkin , the goal is to be the first player to reach level 10. Everyone starts at level 1 and will progress through the game by selling equipment, playing specific cards, and defeating monsters. However, you can only reach level 10 by fighting monsters, unless you have cards that say otherwise.

Munchkin is played over several rounds. Each round consists of several phases:

  • Kick open the door, In the first phase, you move into new rooms to fight monsters and gain glory. Kick open the door to the next room by drawing the top card from the door deck. Most of these cards are monsters that you must now fight.
  • Look for trouble, If you did not draw a monster, you can now play a monster card from your hand that you must fight instead. The battle proceeds just like in a regular room.
  • Charity, When your turn ends, you may not have more than five cards in your hand. If you do, you must play them, or – if you cannot/will not play, give them to another player, so that you only have five cards in your hand again.

The game ends when a player reaches level 10.
