Memoir ’44 is a historical board game where players engage in dramatic and accessible battles from World War II. The game is based on some of the war's most famous battles, such as Omaha Beach, Pegasus Bridge, Operation Cobra, and the Ardennes.
The game includes over 15 different scenarios. Each scenario is based on historical events with accurate terrain, troop placements, and objectives. The double-sided game board uses hexagonal spaces and can be used for both beach landings and battles in open landscapes.
You command your troops using command and tactic cards. Here, it’s about making the most of each unit's strengths – infantry, paratroopers, tanks, artillery, and even resistance fighters. The rules are easy to learn, but the game still requires good timing, smart choices, and a flexible strategy to win.
