Mariposas (English)

Every spring, millions of monarch butterflies fly from Mexico and across eastern North America. Every autumn, millions fly back again, but it is rare for the same butterflies to make the journey back.

Mariposas is designed by Elizabeth Hargrave, the designer of Wingspan.

How to play Mariposas:

Mariposas is played over 3 seasons. Your butterflies fly north in the spring, spread out across the continent in the summer, and fly back south in the autumn. At the end of each season, you must count points, and after autumn, the player with the most victory points wins.

Turns go clockwise, and on each turn you must do the following:

1. Play a card from your hand, and take the actions listed on it
2. If you land next to a milkweed symbol, you may "reproduce"
3. Draw up to 2 new action cards
