Battle of Five Armies is a two-player game where you recreate the end of The Hobbit. One player commands Bolg's armies, the king of Goblins from Mount Gundabad - while the other player controls men, dwarves, and elves led by Gandalf.

The game features the acclaimed mechanics first used in War of the Ring - while also utilizing dice and cards that make each game a unique experience. The system is further enhanced by adding a "Fast Track" mechanic that handles the arrival of allies and triggers various events.
