A single-pigment transparent warm yellow-orange. The azo pigment is a synthetic organic, originally developed by the German Hoechst company in the early 1900s and first became popular as a textile dye.

The colors in this series have a very low viscosity, meaning how easily they flow. Unlike traditional inks that use dyes, Liquitex Acrylic Inks are made with finely ground artist-quality pigments. Like all acrylic paints, they dry quickly and permanently, and do not bleed when wet or painted over. The colors are also very lightfast, so they do not fade when exposed to light.
