Do we really have free will? Who decides that? Are we governed by what we hear and what we see, while we believe we decide freely?
Insider is a game that deals with these questions. While you talk with others, you must find the right answers to a quiz or find the "insider" who manipulates the conversation. The insider will do everything to hide their identity while misleading the others.
The roles are distributed randomly. One player is the "master" and they secretly choose a word from a pile of cards. The insider player, whose role is not known to the other players, can secretly see the word. The rest of the players are called "regulars" or "commons", the commons have about 5 minutes to ask the master yes or no questions to figure out what the secret word is.
Meanwhile, the insider tries to lead them towards the right word; if they do not guess the right word, everyone loses.
If the word is guessed within the allowed time, the master flips the timer, and they now have, in collaboration with the master, until time runs out to figure out who the insider is. If they guess correctly, they win the game together; if not, the insider wins.
