Who knows the music best? With Hitster Battle of Generations, a fun competition between generations is set up, where classic favorites meet modern hits.

Choose between three musical eras – Vinyl Classics (1960–1979), Cassette Hits (1980–1999), or Streaming Era (2000–2025) – and compete to build the correct timeline. With a total of 450 music cards, there are plenty of familiar songs, surprises, and nostalgia for both family and friends.

Use the free Hitster app to play the songs directly from the music cards. Guess the song's release year, artist, and title, and place the card correctly on your timeline. Along the way, you can swap cards with other players and use your music knowledge to get ahead.

The first player to build a timeline with 10 correctly placed songs wins the game and can call themselves the ultimate Hitster champion.
