Heroes of Avadore is a Danish role-playing game for children, created as a fun and accessible introduction to role-playing. As the Narrator, an adult guides the children through exciting stories filled with reading aloud, collaboration, problem-solving, and dice rolling. The children each choose their own hero and use their special abilities to overcome challenges and shape the adventure.

The base game includes three exciting tales that take the family through the Forest Realm of Avadore. The adventures are designed for children from 4 years old and require no prior experience with role-playing.

Once the first adventures are completed – or if you simply want a new chapter – the journey continues in The Golden City. Here, the Heroes of Avadore return in a brand new and independent adventure, where the mystery of the legendary Golden City must be unraveled. The journey leads through the streets of Avadore and further aboard a pirate ship filled with treasures, dangers, and unexpected surprises. The adventure can be played completely independently of the base game but is the perfect continuation for families looking for even more experiences.
