Black Steel pigment is designed to replicate the appearance of polished steel by gently rubbing the pigments to produce a metallic sheen. This is especially useful for cannons, barrels, exhaust pipes, and other tubes.

It can be applied over any surface, preferably black matte, and should be gently rubbed with cotton, a brush, or the fingertip. However, the application of pigment fixer or varnish afterwards may alter the final effect.

These pigments are non-toxic, but you should avoid inhaling the dust.
