I Foundations of Metropolis competes players over three rounds to become the city's greatest architect by purchasing deeds to empty lots and constructing new buildings on them.

How to play:

• Buy lots: Acquire ownership of the city's vacant lots.
• Building and strategy: More complex buildings require more lots, but also provide greater prestige, bringing you closer to victory.
• Win: The game ends with the player with the most prestige being declared the Grand Architect!

Key features:

• Polyomino pieces: Instead of the traditional building types from Foundations of Rome, polyomino pieces are used to design and place buildings in the new theme.
• Standalone game: Although it builds on the gameplay from Foundations of Rome, Foundations of Metropolis is a standalone game with a new universe and fresh strategic opportunities.
