In Fishing, the goal is to capture as many tricks as possible over eight rounds. Each captured card gives one point, and the cards you capture form your hand for the next round – so you need to fish wisely! If you are missing cards after a round, you draw new ones from the sea pile, which adds exciting new cards and tactical options.
How to play:
The game takes place over 8 rounds, where you start with 8–13 cards in hand, depending on the number of players and the round.
Classic trick-taking rules apply: Follow the played suit, and the highest card wins the trick.
New cards are gradually introduced via the “sea pile”, including:
Higher card values in the four suits
Green trump cards (1–16)
0-cards that let you snatch cards from the trick
Bend cards with special abilities that can turn the game upside down
Examples of the bend cards' effects:
Steal the lead
Decide which suit to play next
Force opponents to give up cards or lose points
Capture the entire trick alone!
The winner is the player with the most points after eight rounds.
A clever, strategic trick-taking game with a twist and depth – perfect for fans of classic card games with a modern touch!
