Exit: The Pharaoh's Tomb (English)

EXIT is a mystery/escape room in a box. You are faced with a series of puzzles and mysteries that you must solve on time to 'escape' the room you are trapped in.

In Exit: The Pharaoh's Tomb, you are on a vacation in Egypt, lost in a pyramid, and you end up trapped in a tomb chamber. In the chamber, you find a notebook and an ancient rotary lock. Can you escape the chamber or will the tomb become your final resting place.

How to play Exit:

Besides the contents in the box, it's a good idea to have a notepad, pencil and eraser ready, as well as a stopwatch (possibly on a mobile phone).

Place the cards in three piles face down. It is important that you do not look at the cards during the game.

Make sure the Mystery cards and result cards are in the correct order according to numbers and letters, with A and 1 at the top. Help cards are sorted by their symbols and placed in piles.

In each symbol set of three cards, "FIRST HINT" should be on top, followed by "SECOND HINT" and at the bottom, "THE SOLUTION". The piles are distributed on the table.

Depending on how the game develops, you find new items that are locked with codes. The tasks are to find these codes and use them on the decoding disc.

In the outermost circle of the decoding disc there are 10 different symbols. Each of these symbols has a code, which you need to figure out. Therefore, it is important to catch all the details!

If you think you have cracked a code, then set it under the symbol on the disc.

In the window, you now find a number which indicates which result card you should look at. The result card tells whether you are correct or wrong.

With a correct code you advance in the game, while with an incorrect code, you are asked to try again.

Be patient - some of the tasks can only be solved with several mystery cards. You do not always get all these cards at once.

The game ends when you have solved the last task and have gotten out safely. It is clearly stated on the result card when this happens, so there is no risk of overlooking it!

There are three possible outcomes when a code is entered:

• Incorrect code: the response card will say that the code is not correct, and players are asked to try again.
• Possible correct code: the response card will tell players where the symbol is found either in the book or riddle code, and will ask players to get another response card with the stated number.
• Correct code: the response card will tell you that it is correct, and give further instructions. Take the riddle card it indicates, and read it immediately.
