Everdell is an atmospheric board game about the animals' preparations for winter. A city must be built, which will be populated and filled with supplies. Everdell is played over a year, where players advance through the seasons from the end of winter to the arrival of the next winter.

Everdell is a beautiful and atmospheric worker placement board game that uses a variable setup, so the game board and the special mission objectives vary from game to game. In worker placement games, players take turns placing their pieces on the board to activate the spaces, and in Everdell, you send the forest animals out onto the board to gather building materials to construct the city or fruit to attract residents to the city. If you have built houses, you can also invite animals to move into the houses, and as the year comes to a close, you gain access to more and more actions through the animals, buildings, and inhabitants you control.
