What is D&D 2024 - Dungeon Master's Guide?

After 10 years with D&D 5e, Wizards of the Coast has decided to update the game's core books: Player's Handbook, Dungeon Masters Guide, and Monster Manual. This new Dungeon Master's Guide (DMG) is the second release and will contain several major changes to the current rules, but the core essence will still be based on 5e.

These new adjustments will make the game easier to learn, as well as make it faster and more fun to play. Most of the content of the books is based on feedback from players around the world!

The best part about these new books is that they are backward compatible, so the new rules work with all the D&D 5e books you may already own!

What does the new Dungeon Master's Guide contain?

The new DMG will be the largest edition of the book to date with updated rules and a lot of other new goodies:

• 400 different magic items. So there is plenty of loot for your players.
• 15 maps. Ready to use in your next campaign
• New Bastion system. Rules to help your players build their own bases
• Full campaign setting. A complete overview of the city of Greyhawk and the surrounding lands.
• New Artwork. Everyone loves to look at the beautiful illustrations in D&D books, and the new DMG will be filled with new art.
