Dragon Rampant - Fantasy Wargaming Rules (English)

Dragon Rampant is developed from the popular Lion Rampant system, but is a standalone wargame that recreates the great battles of Fantasy fiction.

The book contains scenarios, army lists, and rules for magic and monsters - allowing players to command unruly orcs, raise armies of the undead, conduct campaigns across an antediluvian world as a warchief of a barbarian tribe, or harness the power of mighty creatures and extraordinary sorcery.

An army typically consists of 6-8 smaller units, each made up of 6-12 individual miniatures. These small units move and fight independently of each other, provided they follow your orders instead of just doing what they want.

Command and control are just as important on the battlefield as a warlord's power or an archmage's magic.
